We are just about at capacity for this class but we still have a few spots left!

Throughout history, people have aspired to create societies that express the dignity of human existence within a wise, flourishing culture. This is the vision of Shambhala, creating a path toward enlightened society through meditation. Contemplative practices bring a natural sense of goodness, fearlessness, and humor into our ordinary lives.

Meditation in Everyday Life is the beginning course of the Everyday Life series.  It is a five-week course designed to provide students with the introductory tools and teachings for working with meditation in everyday life. No previous experience with meditation is necessary.

Each class will include a guided sitting meditation practice, discussion of practice, a talk by the teacher, interactive exercises, and a final discussion, followed by a light reception.

No prerequisites.

Price: Please note that we have added a discounted repeat fee of $50 for those who are retaking the course.
