We need more than mindfulness and relaxation to go forward on our path. In Joy in Everyday Life we will explore the Shambhala teachings on cheerfulness, vitality and discipline and the traditional Mahayana Buddhist teachings on compassion.  In working with these teachings we can step out of the trap of our habitual patterns, free ourselves from confusion, and cultivate the noble heart of compassion. This class is a strong introduction to the Buddhist concept of bodhicitta.

Note: If you have not completed the Contentment in Everyday Life course, we require attendance at a 1-hour orientation session in the hour before the first class begins (6:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, January 9th).

Price: Please note that we have added a discounted repeat fee of $50 for those who are retaking the course.
