Wisdom, Compassion, and Space: A Yearlong Learning Community of Deep Study and Practic, with Adam Lobel, Ph.D.

This year of study and practice is for anyone seeking a more advanced understanding of the (“Hinayana” and Mahayana) Buddhist traditions. For students in Pittsburgh, this will be the most in depth Buddhist training we have yet offered. The year includes an opening weekend retreat, five one-day retreats, and bi-monthly gatherings facilitated by Adam Lobel (or selected hosts).

    Learning Circles

Learning Circles are study salons for the Wisdom, Compassion, and Space year. These circles will also have opportunities to practice the teachings as a team through service, by holding the container for center events and programs, as well as other possible community engagements beyond the center. This becomes the basis for truly turning the heart of compassion outward for the benefit of others.

    Dates for bi-monthly circles: Oct 11, 25; Nov 8; Dec 13; Jan 10, 24; Feb 14, 28; Mar 14, 28; Apr 11, 25.

Note:  This is a closed group of those who registered for the yearlong course.
